tortola walking tour

Tortola in the British Virgin Islands is one of the premier vacationing places in all of the Caribbean, and what better way to see it than with the EHTPS’s own Lee Dion who, with his wife Micki, spend their winters there.

Your stay in Tortola will be at Cane Garden Bay, one of the most picturesque beaches in the British Virgin Islands. Nestled quaintly on the north shore of Tortola, this island village offers a sun-drenched vacation that will be purely relaxing and stress-free.  In addition to selected walks and hikes led by Lee, you can enjoy the white sandy beach and fabulous swimming conditions in aquamarine waters.  If fishing interests you, venture to the point and enjoy the sport of tarpon fishing right from your beach. Snorkel as close as 50 yards from the edge of the beach where you will be able to see a variety of tropical fish. Or for a more in-depth experience, on a day of leisure, go on a day charter.

At night choose from many open-air beach front restaurants and dine under the stars or listen to a steel drum band while you dance barefoot in a tropical garden restaurant. You could spend a month here and never eat in the same restaurant.

What a unique winter holiday combination … a great tropical spot guided by your own “Locals” (Lee and Micki), many wonderful walks and hikes, time to relax on the beach, great food and all of this with fellow hikers and walkers.
